Funded Training

Free training may seem too good to be true but there really is no catch! As an official provider through the Leadership and Management scheme, we are able to offer up to £1,000 of grant funded training to support the courses offered to COBRA Network members. Below are details of the funding available and the application process. We will administer all the paperwork on your behalf, so the funding can be secured and the training delivered with minimum fuss and very little pressure on your time.

Funded Leadership and Management Training

As part of its drive to help small and medium sized businesses (up to 250 people) through these currently difficult economic times, the Government is providing real financial assistance to help achieve vital skills improvements for key staff.

Zing is an official provider of training through the Leadership and Management scheme and the team at Zing have developed a number of business development, management and sales courses specifically for COBRA Network members.

Zing is an official partner of the COBRA Network and have:

Bespoke courses running throughout the UK (Business Development, Management, Sales and  Front Line Activities)

The ability to come to your offices, anywhere in the UK, to deliver your training

Can train you one-to-one, or in a group

A fully managed process to make things quick, simple and controlled

Experienced trainers with expert industry knowledge

Funding is available for directors, managers and key employees in all organisations with under 250 staff (paid or unpaid) to support leadership, management and business development training.

The first £500 of training is absolutely free; the second £500 is provided on a matched basis, which simply means that for every pound above £500 Train to Gain will cover half of it.

Step One

COBRA Network member books training course with Zing.

Step Two

Zing complete referral form & send for Cobra member for approval. Zing submit referral form to relevant Train to Gain region and will monitor progress.

Step Three

Train to Gain will call COBRA member to confirm claim and training booked. Once approved written confirmation of funding and claim form will be sent to COBRA member.

Step Four

Zing will issue invoice for training booked and will issue written receipt upon payment. COBRA member to complete claim form and send along with a copy invoice & receipt of payment.  Train to gain will issue payment direct to COBRA member.
